Agreeing to the Terms & Conditions

Payment for services and Court Fees by card
Client can call to make payment by cheque or chaps or card

(Please note if you do not have a card then please forward a cheque made payable to Selfdivorce Limited – once we have received this cheque and it has been cleared we will call you to obtain details and will provide you with a log in and ID No.)

  • Divorce forms filled
  • Able to edit
  • Forms logged once clicked ‘ok’
  • Forms logged and cannot be changed
  • E-mail is generated
  • Court Forms are completed by us (Divorce Petition)
  • Court Forms sent to client with SAE
  • Client to approve and return forms signed
  • The approved forms and fees are forwarded to the court by us
  • We will receive Notice stating that Petition has been issued – we will forward to the client explaining next step
  • Next step – waiting for Acknowledgement of Service to be forwarded to us by the court
  • Once we have received the Acknowledgement of Service Form we will make an Application for the matter to be set down for Decree Nisi.
  • Forward the Application (Affidavit in Support of Petition) to the client which needs to be sworn either by a solicitor for a small fee or at a County Court free of charge
  • Once client has returned this we will forward it to the court
  • We will then receive a notification that the matter has been set down for Decree Nisi to be pronounced – this is to be forwarded to the client explaining what this means
  • Once Decree Nisi has been pronounced to be forwarded to the client and to inform the client that six weeks from the date of Decree Nisi we will be able to apply for Decree Absolute which will finally dissolve the marriage
  • Make an Application for Decree Nisi to be made Absolute
  • Decree Absolute pronounced and sent to us by the court. The original is sent to the client
  • Individuals can contact us if they have problem throughout the process via e-mail or phone
